Ross commenced his legal training with leading City of London firm Ashurst (formerly Ashurst Morris Crisp) in 2001 and qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales in March 2003. Following qualification, Ross practised as an associate solicitor within the firm’s award winning Commercial Property Group.
During his time in London, Ross advised on a number of high profile transactions acting for clients including Canary Wharf Group Plc, Chelsfield Plc and Westfield in respect of its White City shopping complex.
In 2006, Ross returned to Northern Ireland to join the Belfast office of Irish law firm, Arthur Cox. Ross was appointed as a Partner with Arthur Cox in 2008.
Ross continues to practise in both Northern Ireland and England & Wales and specialises in all aspects of commercial property law acting for banks, insolvency practitioners, property owners,
developers, investors, tenants, Government departments, public bodies, local councils and private individuals. His practice encompasses acquisitions and disposals, lettings, development and joint venture arrangements, construction, property management and secured lending transactions.
Ross is a committee member of the Northern Ireland Commercial Property Lawyers’ Association.
The firm RW Davidson was established by leading property lawyer Ross Davidson in early 2013 as a specialist commercial propertylaw practice. The firm is based in offices at Arthur Street in Belfast City Centre.
