Frameworks: “Start-up Accounting and Taxes”

11th October 2012

NISP CONNECT presents In partnership with ASM Chartered Accountants:
Frameworks: “Start-up Accounting and Taxes”

Program Overview:
Launching a business and managing it as it grows can be more challenging than ever in a market characterised by changing regulations, increasing globalisation, and current economic uncertainty. Start-ups and early stage companies face intense competition as well as strong pressure to demonstrate a real return on investment. Profitability is everyone's goal, but companies also need rigorous financial controls and the appropriate tax structure set up from the beginning to help assure investors of the quality of earnings and the ability to be able to vet a variety of questions as the company faces key questions.
The workshop will deliver practical advice about start-up accounting and tax issues that will help you prepare and implement effective procedures and systems. The discussion will be practical, and will reflect on the common questions being asked by CFOs, CEOs of start-up companies.

What you will learn:

•Alternative legal structures
•Tax considerations when setting up your company structure
•Reporting and controls
•Cash flow management
Who should attend:
Entrepreneurs, wantrepreneurs and businesses in the start-up phase.
