IoD training: The Role of the Non-Executive Director

22nd October 2012

Non-executive or independent directors make an important contribution to a board’s work, whether the organisation is in the private, public or third sector.  The Role of the Non-executive Director will be delivered in Belfast for the first time, by leading London presenter George Barlett.  The course will cover how and why non-executives can strengthen a board, provide real-life case studies of situations that may be encountered, and the skills and qualities of an effective non-executive director.

The course is suitable for anyone who is, or aspires to be, a non-executive or independent director, or anyone seeking to appoint someone to a non-executive role. A minimum of 10 delegates will be required for the course to run.

Registration is from 8.30am and the course will start at 9.00am and finish at 5.00pm.
