We are delighted to announce the first of our new series of Adviser Legal Seminars in partnership with leading local legal firm Tughans.
Last year marked the launch of the partnership and a series of seminars that proved very popular with Ulster Society members.

Over the coming months the series will seek to examine legal issues which are relevant to our membership, whether working in practice,
business or the public or voluntary sectors.

The first event in the series will focus on Bankruptcy & Asset Tracing and will be presented by Toby McMurray, (Partner at Tughans, and head of the firm’s Insolvency team) and Michael McCord (Partner at Tughans and Head of Commercial Litigation).

The Seminar will examine issues such as:


  • Recent Trends

  • Summary of UK Provisions & Europe
  • Entre of Main Interests (COMI)

  • Borrower Due Diligence
  • Transactions Defrauding Creditors
